Dark marks
Marks left after spots, sun spots, patches. The clinical word is pigmentation.
Marks left after spots, sun spots and patches fade with the right peels and daily sun protection, over two to four months. On darker skin the wrong laser makes them worse, so we never use one.

Questions about dark marks
Will the marks come back?
Sun brings them back. The plan includes daily protection, and most people keep the result with that alone.
Why not laser?
On darker skin, strong lasers can leave new marks. Peels and skincare are slower, and carry less of that risk. Your nurse checks this at the assessment.
How soon will they fade?
Most people see a change by week eight and a clear one by week sixteen. We photograph at the start so you can compare.
