Microneedling
from £180, exact price in your written plan

Fine needles that prompt your skin to rebuild itself, for scarring, pores and fine lines. Results build over six weeks and keep improving.
- What it is
- A pen with very fine needles that makes tiny channels in the skin, which heals by making new collagen.
- Who it suits
- Acne scarring, enlarged pores and fine lines. Not for anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or under 18, or with active spots.
- Who it doesn't
- Deep scarring may need more than microneedling. We will say so and suggest what would help.
- How it feels
- A numbing cream first, then a light scratching feeling.
- Downtime
- Redness like mild sunburn for one to two days.
- How long it lasts
- A course of three, four to six weeks apart. Results keep improving for months.
- Risks
- Redness, pinpoint bleeding during treatment, and rarely infection or pigment change.
- Review
- Before every session, and photos at the start and end so you can see the change.
Does it hurt?
With numbing cream, most people find it uncomfortable rather than painful.
When will I see a difference?
Skin looks fresher in a week. Scarring improves over the course and the months after.
Can I go to work the next day?
Most people do, with a little redness.
Treated by Dr Ines Calloway or Beth Okafor. Results vary from person to person. Before-and-after photos are real patients only, with consent.
